Attorney Jessica Golden practices both Family Law and Criminal Defense at Livesay & Myers, P.C. She is experienced in handling every type of criminal or family law matter in Virginia, including Divorce, Custody and Visitation, Traffic, Sex Crimes, Embezzlement, Drug Crimes, Larceny, and Military Divorce. Ms. Golden has earned a reputation as one of the most formidable trial attorneys at Livesay & Myers, P.C. for her skills in the courtroom.

Ms. Golden is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Bar Association, Prince William County Bar Association, Fredericksburg Area Bar Association and American Bar Association. She has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the U.S. District Courts for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.

Ms. Golden writes about criminal defense and family law for the the Virginia Law Blog of Livesay & Myers, P.C., where she has authored articles such as My Spouse Is Cheating... I Just Know It!

Ms. Golden earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the highly rated Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was elected President of the Student Bar Association. Ms. Golden won the the Robert Goldberg Award in Trial Advocacy and the Most Outstanding Advocate Award from the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. She also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Practice and Advanced Trial Practice, and was elected to the Order of the Barristers. Finally, Ms. Golden was made the Captain of the National Trial Team, was a Finalist in the School-Wide Trial Competition, and was a Coach of the Undergraduate Mock Trial Team.

Prior to Law School, Ms. Golden received her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University, where she Graduated with Honors from the Schreyer Honors College, Graduated with Distinction from the College of Communications, and was on the Dean's List for four consecutive years.

As an attorney, Ms. Golden has built upon her foundation of excellence in trial advocacy, with a deep understanding of both family law and criminal defense in Virginia. Having litigated every type of case in these practice areas, Ms. Golden is no stranger to the courtroom-- and brings that experience and attitude to bear on behalf of each of her clients.

Ms. Golden lives in Woodbridge, Virginia and works primarily out of the firm's offices in Manassas and Fairfax, Virginia.
